Laura Sanfelici, Associate Professor in Spanish Language and Translation at the Department of Languages and Modern Cultures at the School of Humanities, University of Genoa. Her research interests focus on language attrition and loss, on Spanish Heritage Language Speakers and the relationship between languages and immigration. A further line of research addresses self translation and the translation of culturally specific concepts. She has published on these and other topics both in Italian and international reviews. She is a member of international Research Groups.
